Pastor Bruce Bennett

Pastor Bruce Bennett was married to his wife Lynda in 1992 and God has blessed them with 3 children (David, Christine and Victoria). Bruce was in bi-vocational ministry from 1987 to 2022 (high school/junior high teacher of law, history, Bible, apologetics and gvt. from ‘90-’22), when he became a full-time minister. During this time Bruce served as an evangelism leader, youth minister, nursing home ministry leader, foreign missionary, chaplain to the LI Ducks baseball team, lay Christian apologist, Bible club organizer and leader, 3x Candidate for the NYS Legislature, Continuing Education Teacher, Deacon, Elder, and Asst. Pastor. Bruce was licensed to minister in 1998 and was ordained as an elder in 2004 and as a pastor in 2005 at the Grace Gospel Church in Patchogue, NY.  He holds a 3yr. Biblical Studies Diploma from Christ for the Nations, BA from Dowling College, MA from SUNY @ Stony Brook and a Certificate from Princeton Theological Seminary.  Pastor Bruce is the founder of Word of Truth Church, having established this church for the glory of God and building up of God's people in the Eastern/Central section of Long Island.  Pastor Bruce also serves as the chairman of the Suffolk County Evangelical Ministers Fellowship, chairman for the Long Island Family Coalition and as the Supt. for the Word of Truth Bible Institute.

Pastor Kevin Shea

Pastor Kevin Shea is married to his wife Christie. Kevin has a BA in Psychology from Touro College and had started his master’s at Westminster Theological Seminary (PA) and finished with a Masters in Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Kevin has taught the Word of God at the Bay Shore Church of the Nazarene as well as ministered there for 3 years—(2013-2016). Kevin has also preached the Word of God at the Brentwood Church of the Nazarene, Christ Community Church in East Islip, and Crossroads Church in Stony Brook. Kevin co-ran the Alpha program at New Life Church in Sayville and led a small group Bible study, as well as interned for a year at New Life Community Church (2016-2017) under Pastor Scott Reese. Kevin was ordained as an elder in 2019 and as Asst. Pastor in 2021.

Deacon Scott Pellegrino

Deacon Scott Pellegrino has faithfully served his community as a public school teacher/principal and Boy Scout leader. He has started and led the LI Christian Teachers fellowship for 3 years and with his wife Christa, has lovingly homeschooled their two children for over a decade.  Scott’s heart is to see God’s people built up and united with a strong foundation in God’s Word.
